Family Health Home Play
Here’s an activity that you can include your whole family to participate in. Some of the activities (like bowling) may require you to be creative and adapt them to work at home with your family members who live with you. You can always try activities outside if the weather allows it or change it up and make it work inside with modifications. Be flexible and try to do the things that you can.
Always be safe and don’t do any activities with individuals who do not live in your home with you. You still need to be safe and practice all the health and safety guidelines recommended by the CDC. Have fun and get some exercise!
If you have questions email me at [email protected].

This activity will find you having some fun with balloons. If you don't have a balloon, don't worry, just try the movements without a balloon or use your imagination and see what other items you could use instead. Do this activity as many times as you can this week, even twice a day, see if you get better by the end of the week.

I think spring is on it’s way? I have included a bean bag activity for you to work on this week. I looked around my house and made my own. I took a sandwich bag and filled it with Tootsie Rolls, another sandwich bag filled with cotton balls and I even tried it with an oatmeal packet. All of these ideas worked for me. What do you have around your house that will work for you? I also included a Pokemon workout and a family game of Paper Ball Knock Out for you to try. Please email me at [email protected] and tell me what materials you used for your bean bag. Keep moving and stay active!

The Week of May 11th
Spring is coming. This week I found 50 morel mushrooms, a snake basking in the sun, a fox with 2 pups playing in the woods, buds on trees, dandelions emerging from the soil and a nest of baby birds. I would like for you to continue to practice with an inside activity with a scarf this week. If you don’t have a scarf I used a bread bag. I have included a family activity for you to do outside called If/Then. If you can’t find all 32 items outside finish the rest of the items at the end of the day to complete the assignment. Finally, I have a short 9 minute exercise video for you to complete. Stay healthy and keep active.
